On|Point Events Group was founded by Jason Carroll, CMP in 2018. With nearly 20 years in the events, hospitality and tourism industry it was time to break out and start his own company providing world-class service and events to his clients. Jason received a degree in Musical Theater from Point Park University, moved to NYC, performed professionally in theater & off-Broadway and even waited on his share of restaurant tables. Unfortunately, he was in NYC on September 11, 2001 and experienced a complete career transition. This is where he began a career in the Events & Hospitality field. Since then he has produced events for New York University at venues like Madison Square Garden and in many NYC venues. He spent 10 years at The Florida Aquarium in Tampa, FL where he was the Director of Sales & Events responsible for all group travel programs both domestic and international as well as more than 250 private events and fundraisers. He created marquee events for the Aquarium like Sudsfest, Brews by the Bay, and Aqua Eve. He also managed high profile events for the Republican National Convention, the 2009 Super Bowl and many others. Jason has worked for Visit Tampa Bay, the local tourism bureau where he became an expert on everything Tampa Bay. From hotels and convention centers to event venues and caterers, Jason knows the industry inside and out. He recently worked with Friends of the Riverwalk where he was responsible for large city wide events like Tampa Riverfest, the Downtown Tampa Holiday Lighted Boat Parade and both New Years Eve and July 4th fireworks shows for Tampa. Each of these events had 20,000 to 50,000 people in attendance.
A Midwest native, Carol earned a degree in Political Science from Western Illinois University with a minor in Interior Design & Architecture. Through extracurricular activities on campus, she became involved with the travel industry while planning a student ski trip to Europe. This led to a wonderful and exciting travel career as a Travel Agent in Illinois, Iowa, Texas and Holiday, Florida before opening her own Travel Agency, Jubilee Travel in Port Richey, FL, while at the same time creating Destination Tampa Bay, a Destination Management Company in Tampa. With a desire to slow down a bit after 20 years, she sold both companies but continued working in the industry. The DMC business allowed Carol to follow her love of being creative, whether designing centerpieces for banquets or events, planing unique decor for theme parties, selecting the right entertainment to match the client's wishes and needs, or arranging off-site tours to show off all that our beautiful Tampa Bay has to offer. The many locally hosted events which she has worked on behalf of her clients include The Outback Bowl, The Republican National Convention, The Super Bowl, The Final Four, The NHL playoffs, and conventions for a variety of national and international groups. Bringing more than 30 years experience in the travel and hospitality industries to On|Point Events Group, Carol is one of our most valued professionals.
